Director

Jimmy Shaw straddles two passions in life. Firstly, he is a third-generation hotelier who owns and operates the boutique All-suite Apartment Hotel in Lavasa. He is also the President of the Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India), actively promoting the growth of the hospitality industry. Additionally, he serves as an Executive Committee member of the Federation of Hotels & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI).

As the founder of ShawMan Software over thirty years ago, Jimmy has dedicated himself to developing solutions exclusively for the hospitality, food service, and leisure sectors. Following ShawMan’s merger with IDS Next, he now serves on the board of IDS Next, where he mentors the team responsible for delivering some of the finest solutions in the industry.

M Sangu

Vice President – Engineering

Sangu has been with IDS almost since its inception. He joined IDS in 1989 as a support executive but with his sheer diligence, hard work and thrust to learn new technologies, he later became the Vice President-Product Development. Sangu and his team are managing the entire legacy product and his current role includes making sure of error free and up to date products deployment for customers.

He and his team assist various departments in appropriate delivery of applications and perform valid tests on same and administer multiple applications and processes for project. Sangu comes with a long and rewarding career in the hospitality technology domain. His expertise includes taking care of Hotel ERP backoffice modules comprising financial management, materials management, Payroll Management, HR and others.

He role also includes working closely with all other departments to ensure product delivery needs of customers met with improved customer satisfaction. Sangu is an extremely calm person and likes spending time with his family and friends.

Mitesh Patel

Senior Manager – Projects

Mitesh Patel joined IDS Next in 2008. After 1 year of experience in Product Support Executive in India, Mitesh moved to our U.A.E. Office in 2009. He has over a decade of rich exposure to the IDS Next suite of Hotel ERP and over 200 installations to his credit. He currently overseas and manages a team of project implementors & trainers for the Middle East region.

Dinker Elayadath

Associate Vice President, Sales – Middle East

Dinker is a seasoned sales person with vast experience in industries like Telecom, IT Infrastructure, Security and others. He has worked with small, medium and large enterprise properties providing Total IT and Telecom Solutions. Dinker leads a growing team of sales professionals in the Middle East region.

Amaranatha Reddy Syamala

Senior Manager – Support & Services

Amaranath joined IDS in the year 2012 and has an overall experience of 11 + years. He has worked in different roles with Implementation and support teams in Greater India, Africa and currently heads the support & services for over 700 customers in the Middle East region.

Bhushan Palija

Manager – Operations

Bhushan joined IDS in the year 2006. He has worked in different roles in Implementation and support roles in Mumbai, Dubai and Bahrain. He has successfully handled Bahrain support and sales operations from 2010 onwards. He currently heads the Sales and other operations for Bahrain.

Thaman Rana

Senior Team Lead – Technical Support & Services

Thaman joined IDS in the year 2008. He proved his excellence in customer support and went on to head the tech support operations for our customers in Middle East. From Sep 2018 onwards he took up the challenge of managing implementations and support services for Bahrain. Currently he supports our customers in MEA.

Rodney Collaco

Sr. Consultant – Pre-Sales MEA

Hailing from the Mumbai Suburbs, joined IDS in May 2009 under the implementations team before moving to Gujarat state to handle services for Gujarat clientale from 2012 to 2016. Promoted to Regional Manager for services for West India Region from 2017 to 2019. Having a vast knowledge of IDS, took the opportunity to work in UAE as a Sr. Consultant for pre-sales for Middle East and Africa region.

Mohamed Saleh

Associate Vice President Business Development – KSA

Mohamed Saleh has been associated with hospitality industry for the last 19 Years in MEA market as Business development manager and Vice president for many local and brand hotels. At IDS Next, he is tasked to propel operations in KSA market As associated Vice president, Mohamed is responsible for market penetration and growth of IDS within the KSA market.

Mohamed’s vision is to ensure IDS is the preferred brand of choice for all hotels within his market./p>

Fisseha Zelleke

Senior Regional Manager – Sales, Ethiopia

Fisseha is a seasoned sales person with vast experience spanning over 20 years. He has been associated with hospitality industry for the last 10 years of his career. At IDS Next, he is tasked to propel operations in Ethiopia.

Azeb Haftom

Associate Manager – Support & Services, Ethiopia

During her earlier stint with many hotels’ IT departments, Azeb has managed to acquire formidable knowledge on many hospitality technology platforms. At IDS Next, she prepares pre-implementation documents and assists in Hotel ERP implementation across East Africa. Receiving support calls and providing solutions to clients in Ethiopia is her primary responsibilities.

Michael Tweneboah Kodua

Senior Regional Manager – Sales, Ethiopia

As a Regional Manager, Michael is responsible for market penetration and growth of IDS within the West African market. He has over 14 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial and telecom sector, having begun his career at Fidelity Bank Ghana. Michael has had successful years with multi-national brands such as Bharti Airtel, Lebara Mobile, Busy Internet Ghana and Vodafone Ghana, where he led the partnership and retail channel of Vodafone Business before joining IDS. Michael’s vision is to ensure IDS is the preferred brand of choice for all hotels within his market.

Michael M Musyoka

Regional Sales Manager, East Africa

Michael is the Regional Sales Manager for East Africa, He is responsible for market penetration, development and growth of IDS within the East African market. He has over 11 years of experience in sales, business development and marketing management within the information technology industry.

He has worked in different companies both local and multinational where he has held different managerial positions in those organizations. He is passionate about market acquisition and business growth for IDS within the region.

Aravindan Ravichandran

Manager – Technical Services, West Africa

With over 17 years in hospitality tech, Aravindan is a seasoned expert in technical services, operations management, and revenue optimisation. As Manager, Technical Services for West Africa at IDS Next, he applies his extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, central reservations, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.

Holding a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management & Catering Science, he effectively combines academic grounding with practical expertise to deliver results-driven solutions.

Prasant Kumar Sahu

Senior Manager – Technical Services (Africa)

With a hospitality tech career spanning 25 years, Prasant brings expertise in multiple ERP systems, strategic insight, and technical excellence to IDS Next’s African operations. He expertly manages cross-functional teams and drives enterprise-wide solution implementations and support services, driving client success and operational excellence. Rising through IDS Next’s ranks from Support Executive to Senior Manager, he is a key player in the company’s success.

Prasant holds a degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance.

Swaminathan Ramani

VP, SaaS Engineering

Swaminathan is responsible for leading the SaaS Engineering division at IDS Next, driving the architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of the company’s cloud-native hospitality platforms. His focus is on building secure, scalable, and high-performing systems using Azure Cloud and the Microsoft technology stack, with modern architectural practices like microservices and multi-tenancy forming the backbone of the solutions.

He oversees the engineering roadmap, aligning product strategy with technical execution to ensure the platforms deliver real-world value to customers. His work spans key areas such as AIOps—where he drives intelligent logging and anomaly detection for greater reliability and FinOps—leading efforts around cost governance, budgeting, and cloud spend optimisation. He is also a pro in emerging technologies like face recognition and AI-driven automation, which he continues to explore for future impact on user experience and operational efficiency.

At the core, Swaminathan believes in simplifying complex systems and fostering innovation that is practical and aligned with business goals. Outside of work, he stays connected with the tech community through events and networking, unwinds with movies and TV shows, and spends time with family.

Sheetal Kolhatkar

Vice President – Strategic Accounts Management

With over 24 years of experience in the hospitality technology domain, Sheetal brings a powerful combination of domain expertise, strategic leadership, and deep customer insight to her role as Vice President – Strategic Account Management at IDS.

Sheetal leads key enterprise accounts with a focus on translating complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions. A proven expert in aligning business objectives with technology capabilities, she excels at managing expectations across business units, executive sponsors, and operational teams—ensuring alignment, transparency, and delivery excellence.

Known for her strong command of global hospitality operations, regulatory frameworks, and integration strategies, Sheetal drives initiatives that enhance interoperability, ensure compliance, and create long-term value.

She also bring hands-on technical acumen that complements strategic leadership, enabling operational efficiency through streamlined issue resolution, agile deployments, and sustained service excellence.

Vidhya Srinivasan

Associate Vice President – Credit Control

Securing our revenue, Vidhya is in charge of our billing and collection. She leads a ten-member team to bill and collect all due payments and strives to achieve monthly collection targets. Vidhya enjoys working with her team and is inspired by guiding them to aim and achieve high.

During her 17 years working with IDS, she was mentored by the seniors in her team, encouraging her to give her best and work with accountability. For her invaluable contributions, Vidhya was awarded the Individual Excellence Award in 2018 and the Founders Award in 2019.

Vidhya loves to hit the yoga mat every morning for fitness and peace of mind. In her free time, she enjoys cooking traditional dishes for her family.

Subhadip Mukherji

National Sales Manager – Business & Service Enhancement Solution

Taking our solutions to new heights, Subhadip is responsible for enhancing businesses and services of hotels with our new-age solutions and manages the national accounts effectively. Subhadip was also a part of the leadership team for launching our FX solutions in the market. He contributes to our success along with his fantastic team of winners.

Subhadip’s 16+ years of experience working with hoteliers combined with his educational background ensures in providing the best and apt solutions and services to our clients. Inspired by creating his own destiny, Subhadip’s energy is an immense source of motivation for the IDS team.

Subhadip is kept company by his adorable daughter and loving wife. As a keen hodophile, he loves trekking with his friends.

Deepak V. Prajapati

National Sales Manager – India

Contributing to our business growth, Deepak is responsible for managing business development and sales for the Indian region. He works collaboratively with our team to implement sales strategies and achieve sales targets. Deepak also engages in key account management, builds relationships with our existing customers, and ensures that we stay on track with market intelligence.

The dynamic challenges in sales add to the excitement of his work, and for Deepak, sales is the best career in the world. He brings to our team 19 years of experience and expertise in sales and marketing.

Kamatchi Nathan

DGM Sales- South India

Leading our South Indian operations, Kamatchi heads regional sales and manages key accounts for the southern states of Greater India. He brings in more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality arena, with nearly 20 years of it gained through IDS. Over the years, Kamatchi has worked across the globe, including Dubai and Qatar. Working with IDS has been an immense source of inspiration for him where it gave him many opportunities to learn and excel while providing the perfect work-life balance.

In his leisure time, Kamatchi enjoys listening to music and exploring the artsy side of things through painting.

Mrutyunjaya Das

Zonal Head – Eastern India, Bangladesh & Bhutan

Leading our teams with motivation and energy, Mrutyunjaya is responsible for Regional Focal Point Sales, Key Accounts and Operations Management for Eastern India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. He is a hardworking, sincere, and dedicated leader who has supported the IDS team for over 14 years. Mrutyunjaya’s respect for honesty and integrity has added tremendous value to the IDS team.

Mrutyunjaya has led his sales team with flexibility and commendable organisational skills to achieve many milestones over the years. For his invaluable contributions, he was awarded the Extra Mile Award and the Best Employee Award. Appreciative of his efforts, in 2019, he was also awarded the Founder’s Award.

As an enthusiastic Badminton player, Mrutyunjaya loves playing arcade games whenever he is free.

Niranjan Prakash Sharma

Regional Manager – North

Managing our operations in Northern India, Niranjan is responsible for handling sales activities in the region and for managing the teams within the region. He works to drive business, contributes to sales strategies, and engages in budgeting, competitor analysis, and identifying potential prospects. Niranjan travels extensively to manage activities across the region and assists IDS in coordinating among departments to ensure an excellent service to our valued clients.

Niranjan has been with IDS for over 5 years, and his skill and expertise combined with his stellar work ethic rose him to the position of Regional Manager within a short time.

Niranjan is a passionate traveller, and he also loves to listen to music as he gets through his busy day.

Prakash A.M.

Senior Regional Manager – Professional Services

Putting our plans into action, Prakash is responsible for implementing new products and providing training to our clients throughout the southern region. He tracks our progress in the South and analyses the data to provide the perfect solutions to our clients on time. Prakash also ensures that all our clients’ requirements are met as our implementation projects progress.

A member of the IDS team since 2007, Prakash has done 200+ implementations across Bahrain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Fiji Island, Africa, and Samoa Island. For his exceptional contributions, Prakash received an Extra Mile Award and Outstanding Achievements Awards.

In his free time, Prakash enjoys listening to music, and he loves spending time with his daughter and son.

Sandeep Chaudhary

Associate Manager – Sales

Leading our sales, Sandeep assists our sales team in arranging product presentations and demonstrations for new and prospective clients across India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. He also collects feedback from our clients and engages in discussions and analysis to better connect with our clients. Sandeep conducts training sessions with overseas partners and showcases the features and functionalities of IDS products.

Driven by his passion for learning new things, Sandeep values continued growth and has been an invaluable addition to his team and the organisation. For his contributions, Sandeep was awarded the Individual Excellence Award in 2020.

Lalit Mohan Yadav

Leading our service provisions in Northern India, Lalit is responsible for managing product implementations and ensures that our clients are well-equipped to use our products. He handles implementation schedules and coordinates available resources to ensure that implementation projects are completed in a timely manner.

Spurred on by the phrase “Not giving up, no matter how many times you fail”, Lalit believes that inspiration can come from anywhere. Anirban Mazumdar

Regional Manager – East India, Bangladesh, Bhutan

Leading operations across regions, Anirban is responsible for leading all phases of various technology projects and implementations of new projects. He also plays the lead role in generating cash flows in the region. In addition, Anirban handles clients and stakeholders of complex projects across the region.

Extensively experienced with client discussions, experience gathering, and feasibility studies, Anirban’s analytical and problem-solving skills have greatly contributed to the success of IDS. His service has been much appreciated by our clients owing to his stellar performance, optimum solution provisions and continuous dedicated efforts.

Rawal Jain

Sr. Regional Manager – PSG West

Managing our product implementations across the region, Rawal handles all implementations and implementation support in the West region. He reviews products, develops project plans and ensures that implementations are completed on time and within the allocated budget. Rawal works to meet the expectations of our valued clients and maintains relations with them.

Rawal has over 11 years of experience in ERP software solutions and is constantly on the lookout for new knowledge. He strives to apply his skills and expertise in improving the quality of life for our clients and at the workplace.

Shankar Thangaraj

Regional Manager – CS

Managing our clients in the southern region, Shankar is responsible for follow-ups on our clients. He handles payment-related issues, escalations and holds client meeting to ensure that their requirements are met. His energy in overcoming challenges, combined with his desire for success, has contributed immensely to our growth. Shubhendu Banerjee

Resolving all clients’ issues, Shubhendu is responsible for monitoring any difficulties faced by our clients and sets the processes to address those issues. He works to streamline internal operations for proactive deliverance of client requirements. Shubhendu has been an active part of the foundation team of technical support system and services and is a key contributor in providing excellent client service and upholding our client relations.

Shubhendu headed enterprise implementations in several hospitality chains across major parts of Eastern India and South-Eastern Asian countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, etc. For his dedicated performance, Shubhendu has been nominated for the Star Performance Award several times.

Gaurav Vig

Ensuring our clients’ satisfaction, Gaurav is responsible for handling key account customers and manages escalations and closures. He interacts with customers regularly to understand their needs and requirements and addresses them to ensure smooth and effective operations.

Dipayan Saha

Regional Manager – CS (East)

Leading operations across the eastern region, Dipayan is responsible for monitoring and connecting his team on daily operations and services. He analyses and sets strategies for an improved quality of service and urges his team to provide top-class services. Dipayan engages in collection and strives to achieve our targets and improve profits.

During his 13+ years of experience at IDS, he has ventured to build a strong connection with our clients. Inspired by leading and growing together with his team, Dipayan constantly looks for opportunities to build his skills to give our valued clients an exquisite service.

Abhijith Natarajan

He monitors daily client issues and ensures that our clients receive a response in a timely manner. Abhijith keeps tabs on any unresolved issues and promptly directs them to relevant parties to provide the best support to our clients.

Aravind A.

Operations Manager – Customer Success.

Handling all client matters, Aravind is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards for our customer service and defining user guidelines. He also determines operational strategies through performance reviews and other assessments. Aravind makes sure that his team has the required skills and guidance for responding to client-related issues effectively.

During his 8+ years of experience at IDS, Aravind has found that being with people who are passionate about what they do inspires him to do his best. He was awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016 for his invaluable contributions to the IDS team.

Amit Kumar

Handling our clients in the western region, Amit is responsible for maintaining all the post-sales services. He ensures that we uphold the quality of our post-sales services and secures customer satisfaction. Amit coordinates operations between line support and customer services and uses his skills and expertise to bring IDS more business opportunities.

Amit strives to create an environment of growth and knowledge at work for his team and himself. His 10+ years of experience brings valuable insights and skill to the IDS team. Rajesh Paul David

Pre-Sales Manager

Rajesh is IDS Next’s Presales Manager with over 13 years of experience in the hospitality tech space, helping hotels and restaurants modernise operations using cloud-based ERP solutions. At IDS Next, he oversees lead generation, market research, email campaigns, channel partner onboarding, and product demonstrations across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia and Oceania.

Rajesh’s expertise lies in understanding client needs, clearly positioning our solutions, and enabling seamless adoption of Property Management Systems (PMS), F&B, and CRM modules.

He has run successful outreach campaigns, onboarded key hotel chains, and collaborated with internal teams to deliver demos that convert.

He is always open to meaningful conversations—whether with hoteliers seeking a reliable ERP partner, channel partners exploring growth opportunities, or professionals passionate about digital transformation in hospitality.

Senura Dharmathilaka

Associate Manager – Client Engagement

Senura oversees client engagement across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, supporting clients with IDS Next hospitality technology. With several years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, and enterprise software, he plays a key role in ensuring clients receive reliable, efficient, and practical technology support.

Beyond solution delivery, he supports implementations, handles customer escalations, conducts product demonstrations, and guides clients through challenges to ensure smooth operations. He is committed to building long-term partnerships with clients and offering services that create meaningful improvements.

Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, badminton, gaming, travelling, watching movies, and trying out new food. Senura is a firm believer in continuous learning, personal growth, and using innovation to elevate customer engagement and hospitality technology.

Shehan Mathew

Manager – Customer Success | International Support

Shehan is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and currently leads the International Customer Success Team at IDS Next, a core pillar delivering 24/7 technical support worldwide.

With over 17 years of customer support and operations. Shehan provides strategic leadership to deliver accurate, timely resolutions and ensure seamless daily operations, helping unlock the full potential of IDS Next’s hospitality ERP solutions.

He strengthens our international support ecosystem by streamlining processes, refining policies, improving communication frameworks, and building a robust knowledge base to uphold service excellence across regions.

Outside work, Shehan loves cooking, exploring culinary arts, and has a deep passion for music, particularly DJ-ing and production.

Eranda Dias

Territory Sales Manager – Sri Lanka

As the Territory Sales Manager for Sri Lanka, Eranda brings 16 years of experience in the fields of sales and marketing, with over 7 years dedicated to the hospitality and leisure industries. His expertise in market dynamics and customer engagement has made him a key player in driving growth and success within the region.

Eranda’s hobbies are both creative and adventurous. He is passionate about travelling and capturing the beauty of nature through photography. He also boasts good culinary skills and is keen on experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Shehani Welagedara

Associate Manager – Marketing

Shehani, with her background spanning multiple fields, brings expertise in content strategy, marketing, and media management to the table. She works with the IDS Next Marketing Department, overseeing campaigns, our website, social media, communications, and content and design projects. Her role is focused on ensuring that the IDS Next story leaves a lasting impression across every channel and platform.

She is also a writer, editor and translator. Shehani has worked with multiple Sri Lankan and global brands, helping them reinvent how they connect with their audiences.

When she is not working on crafting and fine-tuning IDS Next’s marketing strategy, you can find Shehani retreating to the pages of her favourite book, catching up on the latest movies or shows, or penning her thoughts in short stories and poems.

Rukmal de Alwis

Manager – Onboarding SAAS Engineering

Rukmal leads a global database-building team with precision and expertise, boasting an extensive background in hospitality product implementation and bringing invaluable insights into the inner workings of hospitality operations. He is experienced in various pre-opening phases, giving him a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of launching new projects. His expertise also extends to IT infrastructure planning for existing and pre-opening projects.

His meticulous approach has streamlined numerous processes, ensuring that operational processes efficiently meet the industry’s evolving demands.

Beyond professional life, Rukmal is passionate about exploring emerging technologies and staying updated on trends. In his spare time, he indulges in his love for chess, which mirrors his professional and strategic thinking and planning. His ability to combine technical knowledge with strategic execution makes him indispensable in his field.

Isuhara Koralage

Manager – Human Resources

As an advisor to management and employees in the Sri Lankan region, Isuhara guides on all HR-related matters. She is responsible for leading and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment to performance management, and ensuring compliance with Sri Lanka’s labour laws. She is also dedicated to identifying and mitigating HR-related risks, developing programmes to enhance employee engagement and retention, and continuously improving HR processes to maximise efficiency. She is the brains behind leading a positive, inclusive work environment in IDS Next – Sri Lanka.

Outside of work, Isuhara is an adrenaline enthusiast and an avid traveller who enjoys exploring new cultures and landscapes, whether it is hiking, surfing, or relaxing by a peaceful lake.

Gerald Manuel

Manager – Professional Services (FN)

Gerald comes to IDS Next with rich exposure in implementing Hotel ERP solution and he has been working in the industry more than 4 years. In his current role, Gerald is responsible for planning and implementing IDS Next Hotel ERP, product training and support in Sri Lanka.

Chanaka Rajapaksha

Manager – Professional Services (FX)

As part of our Professional Services Group, Chanaka is responsible for ensuring smooth and error-free implementation of our hotel management software at hospitality properties in both the island nations. At times, he also conducts software audit and training to ensure customer satisfaction.

Chandima Lakmali

Assistant Manager – Finance & Administration

Tackling all things finance, Chandima is responsible for the financial and administration activities in the Sri Lankan region. She mainly engages in preparing financial statements, finalising taxations, and engaging in budgeting functions. Chandima’s skill and expertise in handling her daily operations have provided critical support for the decision-making processes of IDS.
