Our Commitment

IDS Next is committed to creating a work environment where all persons are treated with respect and dignity. We believe in a work environment characterised by mutual trust and the absence of intimidation, oppression, and exploitation.

Our company will not tolerate any form of harassment to any employee. IDS will seek to prevent, correct, and discipline any behaviour that harasses an employee of IDS and strives to create a professional work environment free of explicit bias, prejudice, and harassment.

 

Definitions

Harassment

Harassment may be both verbal and non-verbal harassment. Verbal harassment includes offensive or unwelcome comments regarding a person’s physical, mental, social conditions or any other circumstances. Non-verbal harassment includes distribution or discussion of any written or graphic material that insults or shows hostility or disrespect to another employee.

 

Our Approach

All employees, regardless of their positions, are covered by and are expected to comply with this policy. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who causes harassment to another employee. We encourage anyone who encounters any problems, malfunctions, or deficiencies, or witnesses any such, to report them to their immediate supervisor or HR.

 

Our Principles

Respect

IDS require all employees to respect each other’s personal lives and boundaries. No employee shall be made the subject of any treatment that makes them feel disrespected or harassed. We encourage courteous, mutually respectful and noncoercive interactions among all employees.

 

Lawful Retaliation

We encourage any form of lawful retaliation against harassment. Lawful retaliation includes filing complaints, providing evidence, or acting as an investigator of a complaint. No hardship, penalty, or loss of benefit will be imposed on any employee who so lawfully retaliates. However, filing groundless or malicious complaints is an abuse of this policy and will be treated as a violation.
