ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Cloud Support Executive to support and manage cloud infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, working knowledge of AWS (preferred), and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and operational tracking. This role involves monitoring cloud environments, supporting deployments, handling incidents, maintaining cost reports, and assisting in performance optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure
  • Provide Level 1 / Level 2 cloud support for applications and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot issues related to:
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure SQL Databases
    • Virtual Machines
    • Storage Accounts
    • Networking components
    • Azure Front Door
    • Load Balancers
    • WAF
    • Service Bus
    • Other Azure Services
  • Assist in basic AWS environment monitoring (EC2, S3, IAM – preferred)
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security policies
  • Generate and maintain cloud usage & cost reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Analyze subscription-wise and resource-wise cost data
  • Support backup, DR monitoring, and system health checks
  • Coordinate with development and Operations teams for deployments
  • Document incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolutions
  • Ensure SLA adherence and timely issue resolution

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Basic understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM preferred)

  • Knowledge of:

    • Azure Portal

    • Azure Resource Groups

    • Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor / Application Insights)

  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, Load Balancer, VNet, Firewall concepts)

  • Understanding of cloud security fundamentals

Excel & Reporting Skills

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
    • Data filtering & sorting
    • Basic formulas
    • Cost analysis and reporting
  • Ability to prepare weekly/monthly cloud cost and performance reports

Preferred Skills

  • Basic PowerShell / Azure CLI knowledge
  • Exposure to CI/CD concepts
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques
  • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work in shifts (if required)
  • Team collaboration mindset
