ROLE OVERVIEW

If you have a solid background in hospitality technology or database preparation you might be our next Associate – SaaS Onboarding.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team full-time and play a critical role in the successful deployment of IDS Next’s hospitality technology solutions. The position focuses heavily on database preparation, including verifying, configuring, and manually entering master data with high accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare databases based on the assigned tasks (verifying raw data from the customer and advising on the gaps accordingly).
  • Prepare Excel template sheets, import, and make manual entries based on the customer’s requirement.
  • Follow up with the project team for data gaps and document accordingly.
  • Maintain 99% accuracy on the master data configuration, based on the pre-installation document.
  • Document all the project-related correspondence.
  • Update project manager/executive with status reports (master-data acknowledgement, configuration status, functional testing status, delays in delivery due to an issue)
  • Complete projects within the allocated days
  • Conduct user-level function testing of built modules (quality testing of basic operations, voucher printing, logo upload in vouchers, coordination with relevant parties for customisation etc.)
  • Update project status into CRM and maintain DB shipment reports
  • Generate reports related to configured, parameters, and vouchers. Handover to the project manager/ implementation executives for verification.
  • Review DB with the reporting manager. Handover to project manager/ implementation executives for confirmation.
  • Generate cases for issues found in Configurations & Testing stage
  • Track number of cases resolved or escalated to development. Follow up and inform the project team accordingly.
  • Configure Azure Portal for Central Reservation
  • Maintain a daily activity log (status report) by project for all work carried out.
  • Additional tasks will be assigned based on the management’s discretion

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MS SQL
  • Experience with hospitality industry products as a user, instructor, or installer
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
  • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend integrity, third-party tools)
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise and plan work independently
  • Ability to automate tasks as a primary solution to various problem statements and provide solutions in Azure and on-premises environments
